# Plum Blossom Divination with Mei Hua Yi Shu

Enter two numbers while holding one question in mind. This tool casts an I Ching hexagram from those numbers and the current Hong Kong double-hour. It supports English and Traditional Chinese and needs no birth details.

## Calculation method

Divide each number by eight for the upper and lower trigrams, counting remainder zero as eight. Add both numbers and the Hong Kong double-hour ordinal, then divide by six for the moving line, counting zero as six. Zi is one and Hai is twelve. Hong Kong uses UTC+8. Fixed code calculates the primary, nuclear and changed hexagrams and the Ti-Yong relation, with every remainder shown. AI does not choose the cast.

This is the site's two-number-plus-hour method. Time casting and three-number casting use different inputs and are not offered by this tool.
