The zodiac option only removes dates whose traditional daily clash matches the animal you select. It does not use your full birth chart or calculate a personal auspicious hour.
How the dates are selected
The source must list your chosen activity as suitable (宜), without also advising against it (忌) or against all activities. Returning to work and business openings use 開市, the opening-for-business entry. Construction uses 動土, the groundbreaking entry. A construction-only date will not appear in the return-to-work results.
Returning to an office has no separate entry in this almanac. Using 開市 for that purpose is the rule offered by this tool; you can decide whether it fits your custom. Almanac traditions and editions differ, and these entries cannot predict work or business outcomes.
Calendar and almanac sources
The lunar dates use the site's existing lunar-typescript calendar. The New Year boundary was checked against the Hong Kong Observatory's 2027 conversion table. The Observatory verifies calendar dates; it does not endorse auspicious-date choices.
