1. General

Welcome to kaucim.ai (the "Website"), operated by Starry Research Labs Limited (the "Company", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

By accessing or using this Website, or purchasing any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. Service Description

The Website provides AI-assisted services based on traditional Eastern cultural content and reflective lifestyle experiences (collectively, the "Service"). Current services include Wong Tai Sin, Che Kung, and Guan Yin fortune-stick readings, sign-number recognition from a photo of a fortune slip you upload, Moon Blocks (jiaobei) questions, Qi Men Dun Jia casting and readings, Qi Men character cards, decision-timing readings, Mei Hua plum-blossom number casting, daily almanac and folk-calendar tools, Caishen and moving-in ritual guides, Yuelao relationship conversations, Zi Wei Dou Shu / BaZi chart reports, career and wealth chart reports, monthly-flow reports, two-person compatibility reports, the 2027 annual reading book, Five Elements crystal reports, Palmary palm readings based on user-uploaded palm photos, Kaucim Riso Avatar illustrations made from adult portraits, and feng shui room scans based on user-uploaded room photos. Cultural readings are generated by artificial intelligence models or programmatic cultural-reference logic and are intended solely for cultural experience, entertainment, self-reflection, and reference purposes. Kaucim Riso Avatar is a creative tool and does not assess luck or identity.

Several of these tools are free throughout, including drawing a fortune stick, Moon Blocks, Mei Hua casting, sign-number recognition, almanac and folk-calendar tools, chart calculation, Kaucim Riso Avatar, and the free previews offered on each paid product. Others are one-time paid readings or reports. Availability, free scope, price, currency, and report language vary by product, region, and site language. The following are offered on the Chinese-language site and deliver Chinese-language output: Che Kung and Guan Yin fortune sticks, Qi Men Dun Jia readings, Qi Men character cards, decision-timing readings, Mei Hua casting, fortune-slip photo recognition, and the 2027 annual reading book. The English site currently sells fortune-stick readings, Palmary palm readings, Zi Wei / BaZi reports, compatibility reports, Five Elements crystal reports, and feng shui room scans. These Terms govern the whole Website in every language.

3. Payments and Billing

3.1 The Website offers free cultural-reference tools and several one-time digital paid services. Paid services include deep fortune-stick readings, full Qi Men Dun Jia readings, Qi Men character cards, decision-timing readings, Zi Wei / BaZi reports, wealth and career chart reports, monthly-flow reports, two-person compatibility reports, the 2027 annual reading book, Five Elements crystal reports, Palmary full-reading unlocks and add-ons, and feng shui room scan reports. Current public examples include fortune-stick readings from US$2.99 or local equivalent, Palmary and Zi Wei readings on the English site sold in two generations of pricing (legacy unlocks from US$4.99 and current tiers up to US$79 for the most complete report), compatibility reports, Five Elements crystal reports at US$2.99 / HK$18 / NT$160, and feng shui room reports at US$2.99 / HK$18 / ¥480 depending on language. Chinese-language checkouts also use HKD, TWD, or SGD based on region. The exact price, currency, tier, and provider shown at checkout control the transaction.

3.2 Except for the iOS auto-renewing plans described in section 3.9, reports and prepaid packs sold on the Website or in the app are one-time payments. A successful payment unlocks the content, report, or number of uses shown on the purchase screen. A one-time payment does not renew or charge again by itself.

3.3 Where the Website or our iOS app offers a prepaid pack of uses, that pack is a fixed number of uses bought in a single payment. Uses apply only to the products named on the purchase page, are deducted one at a time, never expire, and cannot be transferred, resold, or exchanged for cash.

3.4 Where the Website offers an unlimited pass for a fixed period (1 month, 3 months, or 1 year), the pass is a length of access bought in a single payment. While it runs, readings marked as pack-eligible are included with no per-use deduction. It ends on its expiry date and never renews or charges again on its own. Website passes and the auto-renewing iOS plans are different billing arrangements; the iOS terms appear in section 3.9. A pass is held against the email given at checkout, is for that buyer's own use, and cannot be transferred, resold, or shared between people. To keep out automated access and shared use, a single pass code unlocks up to 20 readings per day, resetting the next day; reopening a reading you have already unlocked never counts toward that number. The limit sits far above normal use and ordinary readers will not reach it. Where we find clear automated access, resale, or shared use, we may suspend the code and handle it under the Refund Policy.

3.5 Some purchases require a valid email address at checkout. For current English-language reports we email a purchase confirmation containing a single-use sign-in link that expires in 15 minutes, plus a permanent address where you can request a fresh link using the same email. Products explicitly marked as scheduled delivery are generated after payment rather than instantly: the 2027 annual reading book, sold on our Chinese-language site, is generated on a queue and its pickup link is emailed within 24 hours at the latest. We use these addresses to deliver and restore access, not for marketing.

3.6 Apart from products marked as scheduled delivery, these are digital services delivered immediately after payment. Refunds, cancellations, and exceptions are governed by the Refund Policy. Unless an exception listed there applies, payments are generally non-refundable once successful.

3.7 After successful payment, you may return to view most unlocked content subject to continued operation of the Service. Some result links carry a retention window after which the content may no longer load, for example about 7 days for decision-timing readings, about 30 days for crystal reports and paid character cards, and about 120 days for the annual reading book. Some products also depend on browser/session storage, payment-state cache, or service cache limits. Palmary and feng shui visual features may depend on the uploaded photo being available during the relevant processing window. If you want to keep an output, use the available download, save, or screenshot features.

3.8 Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers (such as Airwallex, Antom / AlipayHK, and Stripe, depending on your region and chosen payment method). You authorise us and the relevant payment provider to charge the payment method you provide. Each provider's own privacy policy applies to your payment data.

3.9 The monthly, quarterly, and annual Unlimited Readings plans sold in the iOS app are auto-renewable Apple App Store subscriptions. The price, currency, and billing period shown in the StoreKit confirmation screen control the purchase. Apple renews and charges the plan at the end of each period until you cancel it in Apple's subscription settings. After cancellation, access continues through the end of the paid period. Deleting your Kaucim sync account or the app does not cancel the Apple subscription. App subscriptions remain subject to the personal-use, eligible-product, and daily fair-use terms in section 3.4. Other iOS in-app purchases are one-time purchases where the purchase screen says so. Apple collects all iOS payments, issues the receipt, and handles refund requests under its own policies, so those refund requests must be made to Apple.

3.10 We may issue invite, redemption, or gift codes. Such codes carry no cash value, cannot be resold or redeemed for money, are usually limited in uses or time, and may be tied to a specific product. We may void codes that are abused, resold, or harvested by automated means.

3.11 In the event of a chargeback or dispute, we reserve the right to permanently suspend the associated account and recover all losses including legal costs.

4. User Obligations

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose, including but not limited to using automated tools to scrape content, reverse-engineering the Service, or interfering with its normal operation.

If you upload a photo or other image, you represent that you own it or have the necessary permission to use it. You must not upload images that violate another person's privacy, publicity rights, intellectual property rights, or applicable law. Where fortune-slip photo recognition is offered, the photo is used only to read the sign number, so please keep other people's personal data out of the frame.

When using Kaucim Riso Avatar, you may upload only a solo photo of an adult. You confirm that you hold the right to use the photo. If the pictured person is not you, you must also have their permission for the Service to create an AI-modified likeness. You must not use the tool to impersonate or deceive, or to create a likeness of a public figure or another real person without permission.

We also run one public AI agent purchase channel: the catalogue is published at /.well-known/agent-products.json and the checkout endpoint is POST /api/agent/checkout/{product_id}, billed in USD. By ordering through that channel, the operator of the agent represents that it is authorised by the person paying and accepts these Terms on that person's behalf. Agents must respect the published rate limits, must not attempt to fill in card details on a hosted payment page on the payer's behalf or otherwise bypass the payment flow, and must not resell or publish the reports they receive. Outside that channel and ordinary browsing, automated scraping, load testing, or bulk calling of the Service remains prohibited.

5. Intellectual Property

All AI-generated interpretations, website design, and code are the copyright of Starry Research Labs Limited. Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal viewing licence only. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, commercially exploit, or create derivative works.

You retain any rights you have in photos or materials you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process those materials only as necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and support the relevant Service.

Kaucim Riso Avatar has a separate sharing licence. To the extent we hold the relevant rights, you may download the finished avatar, use it as a personal or work profile image, share it on social media, and use it in your own personal or business profile. This licence does not allow impersonation, false endorsement, resale of the generation service, or infringement of third-party rights.

Using Kaucim Riso Avatar does not grant us the right to place your original photo or finished avatar in a public example or promotion. We display real-person examples only under a separate written release, or use stock-model photography whose licence expressly covers modification and commercial promotion. A stock model will not be described as a user or endorser.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is for cultural experience, entertainment, self-reflection, and reference only and does not constitute religious, psychological, medical, legal, financial, biometric identity, health assessment, or any other professional advice.

AI-generated results are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable. By using the Service, you assume all risks. The Company shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses.

Fortune-stick verses, Moon Blocks outcomes, Qi Men boards and character cards, decision-timing readings, Mei Hua hexagrams, chart and annual-book readings, compatibility readings, and Five Elements colour and material suggestions are all cultural readings of a situation. They do not predict a fixed outcome and do not replace your own judgement. Feng shui room scans are cultural layout readings, not safety, construction, property, or professional design advice. Five Elements crystal reports contain no medical, therapeutic, appraisal, or investment judgement and guarantee nothing about the quality, authenticity, or value of any item of jewellery.

The Service provides no gambling, lottery, betting-number, or wagering advice, and questions of that kind are refused. The Service is also not a crisis or emergency service. If you are facing a safety risk, thoughts of self-harm, or any other emergency, please contact your local emergency services or a professional support organisation immediately.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability for any loss arising from the Service is limited to the fee actually paid by the user for the relevant transaction. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Termination and Changes

We reserve the right to modify, reprice, or discontinue the Service at any time. Updated terms take effect immediately upon posting on this page. Previously unlocked content remains accessible for the retention windows described in section 3.6, and subject to continued operation.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
