1. General

Welcome to kaucim.ai (the "Website"), operated by Starry Research Labs Limited (the "Company", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

By accessing or using this Website, or purchasing any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. Service Description

The Website provides AI-assisted services based on traditional Eastern cultural content and reflective lifestyle experiences (collectively, the "Service"), including fortune-stick interpretations, personalised chart-based analysis reports (covering topics such as personal profile, wealth & career, and two-person compatibility), Yuelao (月下老人) relationship readings and time-limited chat products, and Palmary AI palm reading products based on user-uploaded palm photos. All content is generated by artificial intelligence models and is intended solely for cultural experience, entertainment, self-reflection, and reference purposes.

3. Payments and Billing

3.1 The Website offers several one-time digital services, including Wong Tai Sin fortune-stick interpretations (from HK$18), one-time Yuelao (月下老人) products, Palmary AI palm reading unlocks, and personalised chart-based analysis reports (personal profile, wealth & career, and two-person compatibility, priced by topic and depth). Current Yuelao products include a First Relationship Verdict at HK$18 / US$5.99 and a 7-Day Yuelao Chat Pass at HK$88 / US$16.99. Current Palmary full-reading unlocks are priced at US$2.99 for the English version and HK$28 for the Chinese version. The exact price of each service is shown on the checkout page (inclusive of applicable taxes where applicable).

3.2 All charges are one-time payments. Upon successful payment you receive the corresponding unlocked content, relationship verdict, follow-up allowance, time-limited chat access, full Palmary reading, or generated digital card features. There is no subscription or recurring billing.

3.3 The 7-Day Yuelao Chat Pass gives time-limited AI chat access for the same relationship for 7 days after payment, within reasonable use. Its name does not create a human coaching service, human companionship service, membership, or continuing subscription entitlement.

3.4 These are digital services delivered immediately after payment. Refunds, cancellations, and exceptions are governed by the Refund Policy. Unless an exception listed there applies, payments are generally non-refundable once successful.

3.5 After successful payment, you may return to view most unlocked content subject to continued operation of the Service. Some products may depend on a result link, browser/session storage, or service cache limits. For Palmary, the annotated card is generated on your device; if you want to keep it, use the available download, save, or screenshot features.

3.6 Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers (such as Airwallex, Antom / AlipayHK, and Stripe, depending on your region and chosen payment method). You authorise us and the relevant payment provider to charge the payment method you provide. Each provider's own privacy policy applies to your payment data.

3.7 In the event of a chargeback or dispute, we reserve the right to permanently suspend the associated account and recover all losses including legal costs.

4. User Obligations

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose, including but not limited to using automated tools to scrape content, reverse-engineering the Service, or interfering with its normal operation.

If you upload a photo or other image, you represent that you own it or have the necessary permission to use it. You must not upload images that violate another person's privacy, publicity rights, intellectual property rights, or applicable law.

5. Intellectual Property

All AI-generated interpretations, website design, and code are the copyright of Starry Research Labs Limited. Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal viewing licence only. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, commercially exploit, or create derivative works.

You retain any rights you have in photos or materials you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process those materials only as necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and support the relevant Service.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is for cultural experience, entertainment, self-reflection, and reference only and does not constitute religious, psychological, medical, legal, financial, biometric identity, health assessment, or any other professional advice.

AI-generated results are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable. By using the Service, you assume all risks. The Company shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability for any loss arising from the Service is limited to the fee actually paid by the user for the relevant transaction. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Termination and Changes

We reserve the right to modify, reprice, or discontinue the Service at any time. Updated terms take effect immediately upon posting on this page. Previously unlocked content will remain accessible subject to continued operation.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
