繁體中文

In one line

Lot 14 pictures freedom after confinement. It invites you to identify the restriction that has actually ended and the choices now available.

The verse, line by line

  1. 宛如仙鶴出樊籠

Like an immortal crane emerging from a cage,

  2. 脫出樊籠路路通

once free of the enclosure, every road opens.

  3. 南北東西無障礙

North, south, east and west hold no barrier.

  4. 任君直上九霄中

You may rise straight into the highest sky.

The Chinese is the Hong Kong published text. The English is a plain rendering written by kaucim.ai to carry the sense of each line; it is not an official or literary translation, and a classical verse supports more than one reading.

Hong Kong and Taiwan texts compared

Lot 14 is Upper in the Hong Kong source and Middle in the Taiwan source. An identical first line therefore does not establish the grade or identify the full version.

LineHong KongTaiwan
2脫出樊籠路路通脫却羈縻處處通
3南北東西無障礙南北東西無障碍

The first line is shared by both texts. Hong Kong repeats 樊籠 in line two; Taiwan uses 羈縻, restraints. Hong Kong grades the lot Upper, while Taiwan grades it Middle.

Compare the line on your own slip before applying a reading. Lot numbers match across the two traditions; individual characters do not always.

Jiang Ziya leaves office

The attached title is Jiang Ziya leaving office. The poem carries its meaning through the crane, a bird that has room to fly only after it leaves the cage. The sequence matters. Release comes before movement.

Both sources keep the crane and the opening of the way. The Taiwan second line describes shedding restraints, while Hong Kong repeats the image of leaving the enclosure.

Traditional palace assignment: Mao palace (宮位), one of the twelve branch positions the old lot books use to file each verse.

Reading lot 14

If a restriction has recently lifted, list the options that are now possible. A finished contract, a resolved commitment or permission you were waiting for may change what you can do, but the lot itself is not evidence that any of those things has happened.

For a job question, this verse can help you examine what keeps you in place. Check practical terms before acting, including the notice period and the next source of income. For a relationship, consider whether both people have room to make their own choices.

The open sky makes this an encouraging poem. It still does not choose a direction for you. The final decision belongs to the facts of your situation.

A verse can give you a frame for thinking about a situation. It cannot report what another person has decided, and it cannot confirm that a particular event will happen.

The crane leaving its cage is an image of freedom. It does not know your employment terms or finances. Consider what restriction you want to change and what a workable next step would require.

Can I identify lot 14’s version from its first line?

No. Both sources begin 宛如仙鶴出樊籠. Compare line two and the printed grade as well. The lookup therefore shows both source matches.
