Compare the door and bed
This lesson uses a common Form School bed convention: a solid wall behind the head, a view of the door and an offset from the doorway line. In this plan the door is at lower left and points toward the foot of the bed. Assume an available solid wall at upper right, room for access on both sides and no blocked doors or windows. Under those conditions, compare moving the bed there. Check usable space in a real room first.

Lesson notes and examples
2. Keep the entry and walking route clear
Trace the everyday route from the doorway to the bed or seat. The cabinet in this plan blocks that route. Assume a side wall has enough space and that moving the cabinet leaves its doors, windows and exits usable. Move that obstruction first. A photo or diagram does not supply a measured path width; check the space against the needs of the people using it.
3. Check what the mirror reflects
The mirror in this plan sits to the right of the bed and faces it. This lesson compares options using the traditional convention of avoiding a direct bed reflection. Assume the mirror can be secured safely on another side wall, where a check from the pillow shows no reflection of the bed and access remains clear. That option fits the convention. Check the actual reflection while lying on the bed.
4. Check the chair, door and desk clearance
The chair in this plan faces away from the door, with the entry route behind it. This lesson's Form School convention favors a door view, wall backing and an offset from the doorway line. Assume a side-wall desk position meets those conditions, leaves room to pull out the chair and avoids window reflections on the screen. Compare that option. If a photo omits the door, the space behind the chair or the window, photograph those areas before deciding.

Practice questions
What makes an answer correct in this layout practice?
Each question states fixed room conditions. Answers follow visible obstructions, access and the Form School convention explained in that lesson. Actual dimensions and user needs may change the choice.
Can a room photo establish its compass direction?
An ordinary room photo has no reliable compass reading. This course leaves unstated directions unknown and uses visible relationships between openings and furniture.
How should I apply the lessons to my own room?
Measure furniture and walking routes, then check doors, windows and chair clearance. Compare photos that show the relevant locations. A photo tool's observations are limited to what is visible.
How do mistakes and reviews work?
Missed questions return at the end and become due in ten minutes. Correct answers move to review intervals of one, three, seven days and longer. First-answer accuracy keeps the original result. You can return to due questions after completing the course.
Can I continue in the other language?
Both languages share progress, first-answer results and review dates in this browser. A different device or cleared site data starts a new record. Practice is free and needs no account.
