Zi Wei Compatibility Case Practice

Check both people's inputs before tracing a reading to its chart source. This course uses the site's fictional pair. Questions test evidence and inference limits; the pair has no real interaction history or relationship outcome to grade.

Check both people's inputs

A uses 6 February 1995, Wu hour and the female setting. B uses 8 July 1996, You hour and the male setting. These inputs are fictional. For an unknown real birth hour, select unknown. BaZi omits that person's Hour Pillar; Zi Wei uses a reference hour and marks uncertainty. Its resulting palace positions remain unconfirmed.

A and B are this site's fictional teaching pair. Hours use the entered clock-time windows, without a separate true-solar-time adjustment.

2. Separate chart facts from lived events

In the teaching charts, A's Life Palace at Shen contains Lian Zhen, and Spouse at Wu contains Qi Sha. B's Life Palace at You has no major star; this site's reading refers to Tian Ji and Ju Men in the opposite Travel Palace at Mao. The table omits auxiliary stars. These are calculated chart facts, with no record of what either person said or whether they love each other.

Selected palaces calculated from the fictional inputs. The table lists branches and major stars and omits auxiliary stars.

3. Keep directions and methods separate

A comparison can examine A's Spouse Palace against B's Life Palace, then reverse the direction. A finding in one direction does not establish mutual feeling. The example's BaZi has B's Bing Fire generating A's Wu Earth. Its Zi Wei Spouse-to-Life checks find no direct correspondence. Record the findings separately rather than adding them into an affection score.

4. Check a reading against specific interactions

This dialogue is an additional hypothetical exercise. A says, 'I wanted to finish explaining.' B says, 'I thought you wanted a solution immediately.' The lines show different needs in that conversation, without establishing permanent traits. If a reading does not fit actual interactions, set the hypothesis aside. Record what was said and its context before discussing a response for next time.

Practice questions

What do compatibility case questions assess?

Questions assess input checks, chart sources and inference limits. They do not score a real relationship or grade marriage, separation or affection as a correct outcome.

Are A and B a real case?

A and B are the site's existing fictional pair. Their chart inputs can be recalculated. The dialogue is a separate hypothetical exercise. Neither has a customer behind it.

Can a chart be read with an unknown hour?

Start with information supported by the date. The site omits an unknown BaZi Hour Pillar and marks the Zi Wei reference chart uncertain. Palace-dependent comparisons must retain that limit.

How do mistakes and reviews work?

Missed questions return at the end and become due in ten minutes. Correct answers move to review intervals of one, three, seven days and longer. First-answer accuracy keeps the original result. You can return to due questions after completing the course.

Can I continue in the other language?

Both languages share progress, first-answer results and review dates in this browser. A different device or cleared site data starts a new record. Practice is free and needs no account.
