Zi Wei Dou Shu Chart Practice

The twelve palaces organize the chart. Life concerns basic tendencies, Career work and Wealth finances. The Body Palace is a marker within these twelve; in this example it shares the Life Palace at Zi.

Read the palace name before its stars. Life contains Wu Qu and Tian Fu; Career Zi Wei and Tian Xiang. 'No major star' in Health means none of the fourteen major stars is seated there. This table omits auxiliary stars.

Starting from Life at Zi, its trine branches Shen and Chen hold Wealth and Career, while the opposite branch Wu holds Travel. Read these four together as Life's related palace set. Palace names are specific to this chart.

This site's San He Geng-year table gives Tai Yang Lu, Wu Qu Quan, Tai Yin Ke and Tian Tong Ji. Wu Qu is in Life, so its Quan marker is there. These are birth-year markers; annual transformations are a separate layer.

It is a fixed teaching chart with its input in the caption. Your star locations need a chart calculated from your own birth date and hour.

Some stem-year transformation tables differ between traditions. The lessons use the same San He table as this site's chart engine.

Missed questions return at the end and become due in ten minutes. Correct answers move to review intervals of one, three, seven days and longer. First-answer accuracy keeps the original result. You can return to due questions after completing the course.
